Vanessa Harrington-Brooks is a talented chef with a passion for making every meal a unique dining experience. Her focus is on creating fresh, healthy, seasonal food specifically tailored to her clients’ tastes and dietary preferences. She draws inspiration from the flavors of Asian, South and Central American dishes, and is also well trained in French, Italian and American Regional cuisines.
With more than fifteen years’ experience in restaurants, hotels, catering and private dining, Vanessa has a well-rounded repertoire and the ability to prepare food at any level from fine dining to family casual. For the past 6 years she was a private chef with responsibility for creating full service breakfast, lunch and dinner, five days a week. She also caters special events and regularly prepares sit- down dinners for up to 60, as well as canapes and buffets for up to 250.
Chef Harrington-Brooks is classically trained with a degree in Culinary Arts from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America. She is well versed in vegan, vegetarian, sugar free, gluten free and macrobiotic food preparation, and is able to create custom menus to suit any palate.
